Example Evening A la carte Menu:
STARTERS:
King scallops - glazed in cointreau, fried with smoked bacon, finished in a cream sauce served with a small timbale of rice.
Local mushrooms - Sauteed in garlic butter topped with an au poivre, cream and cognac sauce, grilled with mature chedder.
MAINS:
French Duck breast - glazed with bitter marmalade, served sliced with a ginger, orange, apricot jus.
Fillet Stroganoff - Strips of fillet steak flambe in cognac, with a sauce of shallots, mushrooms, brandy and cream.
Scottish salmon Fillet - baked in white wine, served on a bed of spinach and a lobster cream sauce.
DESERTS:
Hot Pancakes - filled with toffee ice cream, walnuts & banana's, topped with maple syrup and cream.
Stilton - biscuits & grapes, accompanied by a small glass of port.
