Superb character holiday cottages nestling in the vale of Usk a holiday retreat for superb views and relaxing countryside, these cottages are real Gems nestling deep in the heart of Wales, surrounded by Castles, Cathedrals, Welsh towns and villages, surrounded by a wealth of country pubs, there are numerous tourist attractions all within a pleasant drive, we are an ideal distance to explore the many attractions of the UK, England, being only 30 minutes drive to the English/Welsh borders, we are close to the seaside resorts, and the black mountains, and Brecon beacons, for those who enjoy walking, and Sightseeing ,these make very special and memorable days out.
Two Luxurious 17th century stone cottages of great charm and character, they have panoramic views of beautiful countryside of the vale of usk, and being only 8 miles from the old historical market towns, of Monmouth and Abergavenny, the scenic town of Ross on Wye, is only a short drive away. Both cottages provide all the comfort and convenience while retaining the charm and originality of a traditional country cottage whilst retaining many historical features of the original Cyder Mill and Stables.
Facilities: The Cyder Mill is very spacious, with beamed ceilings and stoned fireplace, color television and vidio,with traditional oak fitted kitchen, equipped with modern easy to use appliances, including conventional electric cooker,microwave,dishwasher and fridge, dining area, the quality of this cottage with the tradional antique furniture is a true place to relax and unwind.
Cyder Mill comprises of one master bedroom and a twin bedroom, bathroom with bath, shower and shavers point,
sleeping 4 persons + cot,
All bed linen and towels are included!
Our guests have the unique opportunity to participate on a working dairy farm, you are welcome to join in the daily routine of the farm, feeding- the - calves, lambs and hens, as well as collecting eggs for your breakfast, helping to get the cows in and watching them being milked, we also have kittens, ponies, ducks, and not forgetting Jenny, our house dog, who is always first to greet our guests.
