The Emerald Guest House is located about 4 miles from the city centre and within easy reach of the city by-pass serving all major routes and Edinburgh Airport. The new Royal Infirmary is also nearby.
There is a very good local bus service just yards away with regular buses into the city centre every 5 minutes or so. Our proximity to Edinburgh centre and also the main motorway network makes us an ideal base from which to explore Scotland in general.
Nearby Attractions
With the city centre only a 10 -15 minute bus ride away there is easy access to all the attractions that the centre of Edinburgh has to offer in addition to the Butterfly and Insect World and the Hillend Ski Centre.

This family run Victorian villa has been recently upgraded and refurbished to a high standard. The bedrooms all come with colour television and hospitality trays as standard. Many of the bedrooms also have full en-suite facilities.
A full cooked breakfast in taken is the delightful dining conservatory. There is a good choice of breakfast and vegetarians are catered for.
