Big beds wrap you in Egyptian, cotton pique bed linen, white, soft and cool. Flat screen TV's, digital radio, broadband access, desk space all as standard in all bedrooms. Bathrooms are generous in design with polished granite, taupe and cream colours. Some have walk in showers, others have baths with garden views. All have underfloor heating.
The restaurant has two dining areas, the former music room and the oak floored, light and leafy garden room. Local produce and where possible organic food, dishes are inspired by the changing seasons. The cooking is skilful, generous and heartfelt concentrating on simplicity, craftsmanship and honesty, a little artistry and a lot of love.
Polished oak floors, huge windows and lashings of space, the ground floor is a sweep of grand but comfortably modern. Cocktails or coffees are available in the light and airy lounge, situated on the garden side. Alternatively, the Billiard Room has a carpeted, clubby atmosphere with newspapers and magazines.
