The Manor valley is one of the most beautiful in southern Scotland. Mostly sheep grazing land, the hills are a patchwork of grasses, woodland, bracken and heather. The Manor Water rises among some of the highest Borders hills, flows past sheltered winter grazing and stands of Scots pine and reaches the River Tweed just upstream from Neidpath Castle.
Langhaugh Farmhouse, East Wing
A totally self-contained wing of a lovely Borders farmhouse, ideal for large parties.
A roomy, bright and airy, oak-lined hall, perfect for dinning, sets a tone of substance which is followed through in the generous lounge and in the kitchen with it´s microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine.
Facilities: Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathroom. Different permutations of double and/or single beds mean that each can sleep 4, 3 and 2 people respectively. There is a separate (3rd) bathroom.
The outdoor play area, with its Wendy house and a small stream to catch minnows, makes it a paradise for children.
