Nature Reserve which is very popular with bird watchers. Dartmoor is an easy drive away. Located to the east (approximately 12 miles) is the beautiful city of
Exeter. To the west (approximately 13 miles) lies
Torbay, Paignton and Brixham. Further west still is Plymouth (approximately 40 miles).
Many attractions are located in the area including the
Miniature Pony Centre, Quaywest, Powderham Castle, Crealy, Living Coasts, Pennywell, Woodlands to name but a few.There are three beaches, the town beach, Boat Cove and the award winning, sandy Coryton Cove.The town has many individual shops, cafes, inns and eateries. Also a theatre, museum, leisure centre and 18 hole approach golf course, mini golf, bowling green and the famous South West Coastal Path runs past the door.
