Wydon Farm B&B is a working farm based on 366 acres of National Trust Bellister estate, This is the
only National Trust bed and breakfast farm in Northumberland. It is located near to Haltwhistle, Hexham, Corbribge, Haydon Bridge and Alston. The B&B has its own pitches on the South Tyne river (one of the best salmon rivers in england) and also a bridleway passes though the farm. The B&B is easily accessible by road and train with the train station under a mile away.
There are loads of things to do and see like
Hadrians wall, important Roman sites (Vindolanda, Housesteads, Birdoswald and Chesters), historic castles (Alnwick castle with its gardens), Kielder water (europes largest man made lake), Northumberland national park, beautiful coastline including Holy Island and Farne Islands.Hadrians and a host of other sites can be accessed using the
award winning Hadrians wall bus service which is less than a mile away.
Wydon welcomes all types of guest like Cyclist, walkers, families and dog owners are welcome. For the cyclist there is the Hardians wall cycle path, walkers there is a host of Hadrians Wall national trial and Shephards Walks around Northumberland.
The B&B has three large en-suite rooms. The
four poster room has a whirlpool bath and all rooms come with colour TV, DVD player, tea & coffee making facilities, central heating, fridge and clock radio. The Breakfast served is a traditional full English breakfast with a choice of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and juices.
