Winchelsea Lodge is situated alongside the A 259 Hastings to Rye Road blending into the beautiful rural countryside of one of the cinque port towns Winchelsea officially the smallest town in England and only 3 miles from Rye. Winchelsea Lodge is at the heart of this historic part of East Sussex and the ideal place for you to stay. Whatever the reason for your visit we will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Winchelsea Lodge is surrounded by beautiful countryside 1 mile from the sea. The building is full of character and is in the shape of a Sussex Barn. All 28 (8 ground floor rooms) well appointed rooms, sleeping 68, are en suite and have tea and coffee making facilities,hairdryers and TV's. Food is served all day, with breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner available to non residents. There is car parking for all guests. Our new chef, the well-know Tony McDonald, offers menus and new tastes with both International cuisine and English favourites.
