The Old Rectory is a Grade 2 listed building within the National Park and directly on the Cleveland Way an ideal location for exploring the Esk Valley. A superb location with easy access for the Moors, Whitby, York or Middlesbrough. We welcome explorers, walkers, cyclists or business visitors to base themselves in our family home to relax and soak up the ambience. We have lovely gardens and are situated next door to the coffee shop in Kildale in the centre of this tiny village, five minutes walk from the station and Church.
There is a television in each room, tea and coffee making facilities and access to wireless broadband.
We provide a full English breakfast with locally produced food as far as possible.Evening meals are available if booked in advance. There is a separate sitting and dining area for guests with log burning stoves in the winter.
The bedrooms in the house have flexible accomodation with king size beds and single beds so can be used as double, twin or family rooms at £30 per person per night. The room which has the private bathroom is just a step away only and used soley for this room and it provides a large luxurious bathroom with claw bath and separate rain shower, the ensuite also has a lovely newly fitted shower room.
If you would like more independence attached to the main house is the self contained converted stable / hayloft which provides rustic accomodation with a mezzanine level bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area and lounge with original features stone and brick floors with oak framed windows to a separate patio area, this can be rented by the week or per night.
