The house of Glangwynedd is situated in the heart of Mid-Wales, one mile from Machynlleth and surrounded by fields and woodland. It is by the banks of the river Dulas very close to the confluence with the river Dyfi, a famous salmon river.
The main part of the house is over 200 years old and has been extended twice over the last 50 years. The cottage is on the right hand end of the terrace of three shown on the left in winter and below in summer.
Facilities: Two bedrooms, one with a double bed & one with 2 single beds. Upstairs bathroom with a bath and hand shower. Wall mounted fan heater. Fitted kitchen with electric oven & hob.
Sitting room with sofa, 2 armchairs, fold away dining table & 6 chairs.
Television and video. Wood burning stove in the sitting room. 3 storage heaters. Bed linen & duvets provided.
Organic vegetables delivered by arrangement.Medium sized garden with folding garden furniture.
Ideally suits 4 people, but could accommodate 5 with use of a z-bed.
