The
Angel Inn was built in 1802 as an English gentleman's residence and has recently been refurbished to offer comfortable and stylish surroundings with a contemporary feel, without losing the traditional ambience of a true Lake District retreat.
The inn is set in an ideal central location in Bowness-on-Windermere, amongst gardens and grounds with views of the high Lake District fells, and only a few minutes walk from the lake, shops and other attractions.
Whilst staying at The Angel, why not take a drink from our well-stocked bar, or enjoy our superb food, prepared by our award-winning chefs.
All of our guests also receive free access to the nearby Parklands Leisure Club, where you can go swimming, use the gym or steam room, or enjoy a game of pool, badminton or squash.
