Saughy Rigg Farm is an ideal base for a walking holiday on Hadrian`s Wall National Trail. Magnificently situated about half a mile north of Hadrian's Wall within Northumberland's beautiful National Park, the wall can be seen from the farm.

Saughy Rigg is in the middle of all the most important sites. Housesteads, Vindolanda, Great Chesters and the Roman Army Museum at Carvoran are all within 4 miles, via beautiful scenic walks.

Or, if you are feeling less active you can always catch the 'Roman Wall' bus. Wonderful walks and wildlife begin at our door.
