Ravenscourt House is a family run 8-bedroom boutique hotel. The house was stonebuilt in the Edwardian era and is situated just two minutes stroll from the centre of Grantown-on-Spey, a charming small town with a distinct village ambience, located amidst breathtaking countryside on the northern edge of the
Cairngorms National Park.All of the bedrooms are presented to a high standard with period furnishings throughout. The hotel has been nominated for inclusion in the forthcoming Good Hotel Guide and its restaurant is a member of the Scotch Beef Club.
The area has been designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and is renowned for its wildlife. There are a large number of golf courses in the surrounding area including a number of championship courses. The River Spey, that runs through Grantown, is renowned for the quality of its salmon fishing and Ravenscourt House has gun cabinets, ideal for those visiting the area for its shooting.
Situated on the world famous Whisky trail, there are a large number of castles in the surrounding area including
Balmoral, which is less than an hours drive away. The hotel is also situated in close proximity to both the Cairngorm Mountain and Lecht Ski Centre making it an
ideal base for skiers, climbers and walkers.
Loch Ness is also less than an hours drive from the hotel.
The hotel is approximately 40-minutes drive from Inverness Airport.
