Dramatically situated at the very heart of Dartmoor National Park at its highest point (1,000ft above sea level) yet in a tranquil and secluded location, Prince Hall is an intimate country house hotel with, as so many of our guests tell us, the atmosphere of a most welcoming home.
We and our staff are dedicated to offering exceptional comfort, hospitality and cuisine in a unique setting. In 2006/7 the hotel was lauded as a personal Favourite Retreat by the editor of the prestigious Good Hotel Guide. We also received the Bronze Award in the Restaurants in Devon category of the Taste of the West Food and Drink Awards.
The ambience at Prince Hall is one of relaxation and tranquillity and we therefore regret that children under the age of 10 cannot be accommodated. A country house hotel is not complete, however, without a dog - or two! - and well-behaved dogs are genuinely welcomed with no extra charge.
