Oakey Dene is nestled in the beautiful Allen Valley just a short drive from Allendale Town.This is the home of Alan and Carol Davison. On arrival you are guaranteed a warm welcome, a pot of tea and delicious home-made scones. The rural setting is delightful from the high uninhabited moorland to the fertile farming valleys. There is some of the finest walking in the country from an energetic hike over the Pennine fells to a gentle stroll in the river valleys.
In the evenings relax in the sitting room and dining room, kept cosy and warm with log fires in cooler weather. Children & pets are most welcome - come and see our prize winning herd of Toggenburgh Goats.
