Moorlands House is a small, family run B and B situated on the edge of Belstone, an unspoilt village within the Dartmoor National Park. This large Victorian house is surrounded by open moorland. Your hosts are Bob and Theresa, who offer a warm and friendly welcome, with plenty of suggestions to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Bob is a
qualified and licensed masseur, offering Swedish, Sports, or Indian Head Massage as well as seated acupressure. Just the thing after a long walk on the moor!
Belstone is delightful village that sits at an altitude of 1,000 feet on the edge of
Dartmoor. Ponies and sheep wander freely and the Tarka Trail follows the River Taw through Skaigh Valley up past The Tors Inn. It is the perfect spot for the serious walker seeking a challenging trek over the high moor or for a gentler ramble to the Nine Maidens stone circle. We are always happy to provide maps and to suggest walks to suit the needs of individual guests.
Also nearby are a wide range of attractions to fit anyones needs like
The Dartmoor Railway, Castle Drogo, The Eden Project and Meldon Reservoir.
