Woodlands is a substantial property, formerly a private hotel, but now a well appointed Guest House, with an informal friendly atmosphere. Woodlands is quietly situated overlooking Summerhouse Hill and the unspoilt wooded valley of the West Lyn river but only a few minutes walk from Lynton centre.
Facilities: Woodlands has a choice of single, double and twin rooms all with colour tv, radio and tea/coffee making facilities. Most rooms are particularly spacious, fully ensuite and have splendid views across the valley. The property is centrally heated throughout and is therefore ideal for spring and autumn breaks. There is a comfortable lounge where the guests may relax in front of the log fire in cooler evenings. The sun lounge with its beautiful outlook across the valley is an ideal place to sit and read or enjoy a drink from the bar. Evening meals are available, the menu is shown elsewhere on this site.
