The Lawnswood is a Victorian house built in the 1850s, situated in a quiet street just off the main road into Torquay. The house comprises a dining room and six bedrooms. All bedrooms are en-suite, with TV and a DVD player, beverage making facilities and a hair dryer, ironing facilities are available. On the ground floor are the dining room and a double bedroom. The rest of the accommodation is a triple, four doubles and a single are on the first floor.
We are a few minutes walk from the
Riviera Conference Centre, the
seafront and the
Princes Theatre. A comfortable ten minute stroll will take you to the town centre, harbour and the main shopping area. Also in this area are a variety of pubs, clubs and restaurants to suit all tastes.
We are on the main bus routes to Paignton, Brixham and Dartmouth. There is also a ferry to Brixham/Darmouth from Torquays main pier. Dartmoor National Park is approximately 15 miles away offering tranquillity and breaktaking scenery. For the comfort of all our guests lawnswood operates a strict no smoking policy.
