Fallowfields, a beautiful country house dating back to the 18th Century and set in the exquisite countryside of the
Vale of the White Horse, with the famous Uffington White Horse itself just 8 miles down the road.
All of our bedrooms are ensuite, individually styled and feature stunning views over our 12 acres of gardens, the croquet lawn, 18th Century barn with its walled garden and weeping willows, or south over the paddocks complete with horses grazing. The southerly view also takes in Drovers Road (one of the oldest roads in Europe) and the Ridgeway with its verdant hills.
We are only 15 minutes from Oxford City, 2 miles from the Thames and can suggest all kinds of walks and runs in the area. Alternatively stay at the hotel and pick up some croquet, or even falconry skills! We also have a fantastic restaurant that serves locally sourced fresh food, with as much produce as possible coming from our gardens in the grounds truly a food lovers treat.
