Chelston Manor is a charming 17th century house of great character. Set in its own grounds, it is reputed to be one of the oldest in Torquay. Originally thatched, many of the unique features of the building remain today, with Tudor hood-moulds over the windows and paired octagonal chimneys. Whilst the policy of constant improvement has resulted in some alterations, the interior of the property retains many reminders of its history.
The hotel is within walking distance of the sea front, railway station, English Riviera Centre and Torquay's many holiday amenities.
The suntrap garden provides a beautiful setting in which to relax and enjoy a cool drink. There is an enclosed area for toddlers and a children's play area.
There are 10 bedrooms at Chelston Manor, each is furnished to a good standard - all have the benefit of en-suite private facilities.
After a peaceful night spent in one of the well appointed and comfortable bedrooms, enjoy a traditional full English or Continental breakfast.
