Cantys brig is superbly situated on the banks of the Whiteadder River, and is only one mile from the local town of Berwick upon tweed yet placed in a unique countryside location. This is an ideal home base for all outdoor activities on offer in the area, as well as being only a short drive from the areas famous castles, beautiful beaches and stunning scenery. The Borders is a fantastic area for a family holiday. Nearby Cantys are long stretches of sandy beaches, from Cockleburn to Bamburgh; places to walk; pony trekking; visits to farms such as Conundrum Farm; Deer parks; Lindisfarne Island; Seahouses and boat trips; Alnwick Castle, Harry Potters Castle, further down the A1; Edinburgh or Newcastle around an hours drive away; the list is endless. There is plenty to do and plenty to see, whether locally or within a short drive. We offer a friendly, family environment to which to return. Your children will love the long slide and gardens in which to run and play, as well as watching the ducks and swans glide by on the river. There are fantastic places for family picnics within a short walk, and our conservatory is stocked with games and books. The long summer evenings here will keep your children entertained before enjoying a good nights sleep in our comfortable room.
