Brookside Villa is a stunning Victorian villa on the outskirts of Gilsland village. We are located in the heart of
Hadrians Wall Country and only 5 minutes away from the best preserved section of the wall.
We are on the border of Cumbria and the Northumberland National Park, less than 0.5 miles from the
Roman sites of Birdoswald and Willowford. Also nearby is Vindolanda, a historic roman fort and museum. We make an excellent base for walking the wall so all walkers are welcome. We are also located on
Cycle Route 72 on the coast to coast route.
Brookside has been awarded
4 star from the AA and was recently awarded the
Highly Commended Award. Luxury dinners are available by reserving a table where meals can be chosen from an extensive menu.
