Briarwood House is in the peaceful and unspoilt Dorset village of Bothenhampton. There are views over our large garden to farmland, with lambs often in the fields behind us.
We are about one mile from the quaint harbour of West Bay and the bustling market town of Bridport.
The region is part of the Jurassic Coast, England's only natural World Heritage site. It is wonderful walking country in an area of outstanding natural beauty, which includes extensive National Trust land.
Ramble along country lanes and byways and discover villages and hamlets of thatched roofs and mellow local stone. Take time to relax in one of our local pubs, many of which were important links in the smuggling trade. Nowadays they seem to concentrate on serving excellent local beers, fine wines and delicious meals.
