The Conigre Hotel is a charming Grade II listed 400 year old farmhouse; converted to an 8 bedroom hotel and restaurant. The hotel is family run and aims to offer friendly service in a relaxed environment. We have eight individually decorated ensuite bedrooms; five doubles; one twin and two singles; each designed for your comfort; whether visiting on business or pleasure. The main house has three bedrooms; all on the first floor. Our converted Stable Mews offers a further five ground floor bedrooms. The Hotel has an excellent restaurant offering contemporary menus using local produce where possible. We offer a competitively priced midweek menu; 3 courses for £19 and an a la carte menu on Fridays and Saturdays. Please note that bookings are essential. We have a comfortable bar and a guest conservatory to enjoy the views of our peaceful garden. The hotel has a large function room which is ideal for special occasions or a light; airy environment for business meetings and conferences. We specialise in small; private functions; where we are able to offer exclusive use to our guests.We are located on the outskirts of Melksham; close to the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. We are situated within a 20 minute drive of Bath; Bradford on Avon; Lacock and Castle Combe. Longleat; Salisbury; Bristol and Swindon are all within easy reach.
