Chris & Heidi welcome you to Penrose; their elegant Victorian home. Built in 1880; Penrose retains a wealth of original features; including fireplaces in most of the large rooms; cornicing; ceiling roses; chandeliers; high ceilings and stained glass windows. Even though Penrose is elegant and grand; when you walk in you will experience a homely and laid back atmosphere. As you will see below; most of the rooms are lovely and large with ensuite facilities; plus comfy seating and lots of added extras. There is free Wifi; and a computer available in the dining room. Children and dogs are welcome as well. Chris & Heidi endeavour to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.There are lots of amenities close by; including:The Eden Project (only 10 minutes drive away) Coastal walks; Cycling; Fishing and Sailing;Golf courses galore National Trust gardens & houses Local pubs restaurants and takeaways all within a 5/10 minute walk of the house.Lostwithiel is now the antiques capital of Cornwall; it also boasts tea shops; restaurants; churches; castles; rivers; parks; boats; museum and a train station.
