Bankfield House is a
two star, family run 17C country house hotel with a reputation for excellent food, superior service and environmental awareness. We are the only graded hotel in a 20 mile radius, and are set in 5 acres of grounds including beautiful landscaped gardens.
The hotel is ideally situated to suit all outdoor pursuits being near to the coast, the lakes and the fells. Enjoy country walks direct from our front door, down to the beach in only 20 minutes and along to Haverigg or Silecroft. Alternatively take a 5-10 minute drive to Millom or Haverigg to take in water sports, the RAF museum, motocross track or Milloms folk museum. A cab ride from Millom or Silecroft train station costs only £3.50.
