Ashbourne House is a bed and breakfast establishment located along the A19, which is the main southerly approach to the city of York. Whilst in a pleasant residential area, the many attractions of York are within easy reach. In addition both the University and Fulford International Golf course are nearby.
There are numerous places of interest to visit during your stay in York that are open throughout the year. The most popular include the Minster, Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum. While the city can be explored by river, horse and carriage or open topped bus, the many quaint streets, the most famous being the Shambles, are best visited on foot.
Off-street parking is provided and guests may leave their cars whilst visiting the city. Those wishing to walk into the centre of York can do so in part by way of a pleasant path alongside the River Ouse, or there is a frequent bus service into the city centre.
Please note the online booking system is currently unavailable. Please call Ashbourne House directly.
