Welcome to
Anton Guest House, an early Edwardian (1905) Gentleman's residence, we have recently undergone refurbishment to offer our guests the best of
four star comfort and service, whilst retaining much of the original character of the property.
Conveniently located a short 10 minute walk from the town centre and all major transport routes are nearby. The historical
Abbey Church, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael, is just around the corner, along with plenty of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and a multi screen cinema. Other attractions nearby include
Shrewsbury Castle and the world heritage site of
Ironbridge is only 14 miles away.
You will find that
we have thought of the smallest detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have installed a new Edwardian style ensuite to one room, which also benefits from new decor, carpet, beds and furnishings. There is also a period wardrobe and dressing table in this room, and an original fireplace, which gives a nostalgic feel to the room.
Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room where we offer a fully cooked breakfast of your choice, and can cater for vegetarian, low fat or coeliac diets. We use locally sourced food of good quality.
A refrigerator is located in the dining room for your personal use, and chilled bottled water is available here during the summer months, supplied freely.
