Prestige Holidays adds new special interest tours for 2010

Independent luxury tour operator, Prestige Holidays, has revealed its programme of escorted tours for next year featuring 13 special interest holidays, four of which are new for 2010.

The tours range from a few days to over a month and offer excellent value for money. For just £695 enjoy a six night break exploring the wonderful Renaissance Art of Tuscany and Umbria (27 February to 5 March 2010). The package includes: return flights to Pisa, transfers, six nights half board accommodation at the Oasi Hotel and guided coach visits.

The Venice and The Veneto tour, 25 March to 1 April, explores the fascinating culture, art, history, buildings and major sites of Venice and the mainland region of Veneto. The break costs from £995 per person including: return flights to Venice, three nights accommodation at the Metropole Hotel, four nights at the Hotel Miramonte, Bassano, five evening meals, entrances to museums and transfers.

Culture and Countryside of Western Hungary, 8-17th May, takes in the sights of both the capital and countryside. Highlights include: St.Stephen’s Basilica, the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Matthiasa Templom and the historic town of Veszprem. The holiday leads in at £1198 per person including: flights to Budapest, seven nights accommodation with breakfast; four dinners, one lunch, transfers, internal travel and entrance charges to museums.

Apulia, Italy’s Deep South, 18-25 September takes in Norman Cathedrals, mysterious castles, strange conical houses, elaborate baroque cities, the huge sheep walk of the Murge and the backdrop of the wide agricultural plain of the Tavoliere. The holiday costs from £975 per person including: return flights, hotel accommodation with breakfast, four dinners, travel by coach, transfers, train fares and main museum entrances.

Syria, The Grand Tour, 20 October to 3 November. Syria has a very long and ancient history, encompassing ancient Mesopotamian and Babylonian sites in the Eastern desert, wonderful Roman and Byzantine ruined cities, including Palmyra, beautiful Arab mosques and palaces in the cities of Damascus and Aleppo, and dramatic Crusader and Arab castles. The tours costs from £1,995 per person including: flights to Damascus, return from Aleppo; all transport; bed, breakfast and dinner at good centrally located hotels, entrance fees and guides.
