Families that play together, save together
16 September 2009
Families that play together, save together, with PGL’s October half-term Family Active offers. Savings of up to 25 per cent are available on Family Active October half-term holidays and short breaks at six PGL adventure centres around the UK.
Centres offering half-term adventure breaks for families are Barton Hall (Devon); Caythorpe Court (Lincolnshire); Boreatton Park (Shropshire); Dalguise (Perthshire); Osmington Bay (Dorset) and Little Canada (Isle of Wight).
All centres offer a huge choice of activities such as abseiling, mountain biking, raft building, canoeing/kayaking, orienteering and fencing…plenty of challenges for all ages and the chance to ‘let off steam’ before the dark days of winter.
There’s a choice of start dates and durations at the six centres with the lead-in price being for a two-night break at Osmington Bay from 23 or 30 October at £102 per adult, £92 for the six-to-18s and £63 for the two-to-five age range; savings are £18, £17 and £12 respectively.
On seven-night holidays at Barton Hall starting 24 October, adults will pay £269 each (saving £90), older children £210 (saving £70) and the youngest age group £134 (saving £45). This means, for example, that a family of two adults and two older children will pay a total of £958 – reduced by £320.
On all breaks, accommodation is usually in family or adjoining rooms – with all meals, activities, instruction and equipment, plus evening entertainment, included. Single parents pay no supplement when sharing a family room with their children.
