The Hope Anchor is a family run 3 star hotel, built in the mid 18th Century and set in Ryes picturesque old town. It has recently been redecorated, and features some of the best views in town, across the Quayside and Romney Marshes towards Camber Castle and the sea beyond. 
Woodlands is a modernised farmhouse set in three acres. It lies on the A268 from London and Hawkhurst to Rye. The surrounding countryside is excellent for walking and Woodlands provides an ideal base for touring the 1066 country and the Weald of Kent. The historical town of Rye; with the splendid Camber Sands; and the attractive town of Tenterden are within 15 minutes drive. The Channel Tunnel and ferry ports are within one hour's drive.Disabled access. Ample car parking. Children and dogs welcome. TV and hospitality tray provided. Guests may come and go as they please during the day. There are many dining options within easy reach - light evening meals can be provided for those with mobility difficulties.
Located in the heart of Rye (opened January 2003), and in close proximity to restaurants and pubs, the accommodation is in a fantastic building built in 1520, complete with oak beams, sloping floors, and an inglenook fireplace.
