The Crossroads Travel Inn and Conference Centre provides an excellent base for those wishing to explore Cornwall, with the beautiful north coast just 3 miles away. Though the 35-room hotel is conveniently close to the A30, it enjoys a quiet location and many of the bedrooms benefit from countryside views. We have a bar, restaurant & a conservatory, which provides a lovely light and relaxing venue for lunch or dinner.
The Harlyn Inn and cottages are situated at Harlyn Bay, just metres away from what is considered to be one of the safest beaches on the north Cornish coast. It is the ideal place for an enjoyable Cornish holiday.
The Crumplehorn Inn and Watermill used to be a farm although the Mill dates from the 14th Century. The Inn used to be a counting house during Elizabethan times when privateering was a legal occupation. Ships captains could plunder Spanish and French ships legally and split the proceeds 50/50 to the Crown. The Crowns part went to fund the Navy in further attacks against the French. The Queen´s Treasury officer Lord Burleigh came to Polperro to ´count´ the ship´s cargo and take away the Crown´s share. Crumplehorn was probably a reference to curly horned sheep that were farmed on the surrounding hills.
