It is just 8 miles away from the seaside town of Scarborough. It makes an excellent base if you were exploring the North Yorkshire moors. Other activities on the doorstep include golf; bird watching; walking the Wolds Way; or visiting one of the many picturesque villages; stately homes and gardens in the area.Wrangham house is an 18th Century Georgian country house hotel and was formerly the vicarage; with the local church next door. It is a Grade 11 listed building and maintains much of its original charm and character. There is a very comfortable lounge; a cosy sitting room with a well stocked bar; both with log fires in the winter. It stands in 2.5 acres of beautiful secluded wooded gardens and the hotel has a private; secure car park at the rear.Wi-Fi- Internet access available.Please Note: Check In is between 15:00 & 21:00.
