Situated in the heart of the thriving town of Hexham; the hotel dominates the street of Priestpopple. Built in 1820; the original coaching house was known as the 'New' or 'Low Grey Bull'; eventually to become 'The Royal Hotel' in around 1870. Anthony and Jane Pelly took over in April 1998 with a vision to restore The Royal Hotel to its former glory. We are unable to accept online booking at the moment due to an upgrade of our systems.
