Local attractions include; Chatsworth House; Castleton Caves and Caverns; Holmfirth the Last of the Summer Wine country; The Lowry Gallery in Manchester; with Manchester International Airport 14 miles away.All rooms are individually designed; with no two alike; most are double with queen-sized beds; and others are twin bedded. Our hotel has gained a reputation for first class home cooking; served in the delightful surroundings of the charming period dining room. In order to maintain the peace and quiet; for which we have become renowned; we do not have a restaurant open to the general public; instead we serve a three course dinner to residents and their invited guests between 7:00 and 8:00.Wifi is available throughout the hotel and there is parking for guests.We are unable to accommodate children under 10 years of age.
