The ancient monument of Stonehenge is close by and we are on the edge of New Forest; where wild ponies and deer can be seen roaming freely.We are conveniently located for visits to the historic Cathedral city of Winchester and the maritime city of Portsmouth with Lord Nelson's flagship 'HMS Victory' and HMS Warrior; the first ever iron clad warship. There are also numerous maritime museums including the 'Mary Rose' museum; where Henry VIII's flagship is now housed together with 1;200 artifacts which were found following the recovery of the vessel in 1982 from the sea bed where she lay undisturbed since 1545.The area is renowned for the many National Trust properties and gardens which are open to visitors. Other nearby attractions include Heal and Exbury gardens; Broadlands; Avebury; Longleat; Poultons Park; the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu; Wilton House and many; many more; plus excellent fishing; walking; horse riding and golf.A full cooked English breakfast is served between 8 and 9 am Monday-Saturday and 9-10 on Sundays. A selection of freshly prepared fruit and yoghurt are available together with croissants; muffins and a choice of cereal and toast.Please Note: We are a completely non smoking establishment and we do not take pets. Also; prices are based on two people sharing a room and not per person. Check-In time between: 1600-1900. Check-Out time: 1030. Please advise of your arrival time as we do not have a 24 hour manned check in desk.

Situated on the London side of Bath; the hotel is a Grade II listed rambling manor with restored farm buildings.Perfect location; the bus stops outside; the train is 2 stops to Britain's favourite Heritage City and it's only 20 minutes if you should choose to drive. As it's on the London side of Bath; we are less than 2 hours from the capital. All the bedrooms are ensuite and many have half-tester or 4 poster beds; all with the latest comfy modern mattresses. The restaurant has been revamped and our super new chef now produces a fine three course Table d'hote dinner in the evenings. He has also created an interesting room service menu which is very popular with our business guests during the week.Please Note: We are a non-smoking property. Regrettably; we cannot accept pets. Children welcome. Check-in time: 15:00 and check-out time: 10:30. Breakfast is included in the price Sunday to Thursday; Dinner; Bed and Breakfast is included in the price for Friday and Saturday.
