Welcome to Trenona Farm. We aim to give our guests a warm welcome and provide a homely and relaxed atmosphere for your holiday. Trenona Farm is a working farm of some 250 acres run by David and Pamela Carbis with their children Sarah and Paul. The farm has 160 beef cattle and 200 breeding ewes with 60 acres of cereal crops. Guests are welcome to see the animals and to explore the countryside using the footpath network to the coast (3 miles) or inland. The farm has both woodlands and streams running through it. There is ample parking close to the house with room for boats and trailers and under cover storage for bicycles.Downstairs there is a guest lounge with colour television and board games for the family to enjoy throughout the day. There is a separate dining room where a full English or Continental breakfast is served. Guests may enjoy the garden and patio area with picnic bench. Wireless Broadband Access by arrangement.Please note: The farmhouse is open March to October. We are a No-Smoking property. Dogs permitted and are changed at £10 per stay; payable on arrival. Children welcome. Check-In time: 1700 and Check-Out time: 1100. Family Rooms are based on two adults and children between the ages of 3 and 12 years of age. Children over 12 will incur a supplement charge upon arrival.
Great Pelean Farm is a grade 11 listed farm house situated very close to the breath taking south coast of Cornwall. The house itself is believed to date back to the early 13th century; and the front door has even more history; believed to date from the 12th century; having been removed from Tywardreath Abbey when the monks were recalled to France. Set in approximately four and a half acres the house is on the edge of a working livestock and arable farm. We are ideally located for visitors to the Eden Project a 10 minutes drive; Lost Gardens of Heligan is 20 minutes drive. The National Trust property of Lanhydrock House and Gardens is also within a short drive away. All Room tariffs are inclusive of Full English breakfast and cream tea.Please Note: We are a No-Smoking property. Regrettably; we cannot accept pets. Children welcome. A real country welcome awaits you at Bradridge which is a working farm of 250 acres set in wonderful rolling countryside right on the border between Devon and Cornwall; making us particularly well located for touring both counties.You can fill your days with visits to country houses; historic old tin mines and Victorian villages.For those who are keen on fishing there are excellent catches to be made on the River Tamar which borders the farm.Beaches and golf courses are within easy reach as well as riding and trekking facilities.Guests are most welcome to see all the farm animals and enjoy delightful walks in complete peace and tranquillity on the farm.Evening meals; if required; are available at extra cost but the 250 acres of unspoilt surrounding countryside are free.* For family rooms and single occupancy please call for availabilty and prices.
